In the year 2001, without the nation's knowing, tax payer's money was being handed over to a group of scientists. The funding was used to research DNA splicing. Humans were being spliced with several different animal donors. The intent behind this was to create a better soldier. Creating several different hybrids for different purposes. Test subjects started as runaway children. Orphans who were never adopted. Children taken in by force. This way it just looked as though it were a missing child, and scientists could watch the genes grow and develop.
